Two representatives of the Dutch customs authorities Amsterdam Mr. Rentenaar and Mr. Zuidam presented the certificate to President Michael Schotte and treasurer/quality manager Jeffrey Götz van der Vet. The AEO certificate is comparable to the C-TPAT certification in the United States and covers both customs simplifications and security in the European Union. The certificate has been given to us after an accurate audit aiming to verify the compliancy with customs rules, safety standards level and financial health. For all the above reasons this certificate proves that Boatmen Association “De Koperen Ploeg” is a reliable operator meeting EU laws in terms of customs, finance and safety by all the EU customs authorities.
